our story
Woodshed Living brings you beautiful hand-crafted bespoke decorations and furniture, created from reclaimed and recycled wood found in Jersey. All our items are handmade and finished in our workshop in St Peter. We take great pride in the design and production of our unique range.
Tired of working in the Finance industry and wanting to engage with his creative self, Darren decided to set up a workshop to enable this. He started out making pieces of furniture for Marie and having the opportunity to create again began this journey we find ourselves on now with Woodshed Living. Knowing how much our clients love the work we produce is fantastic.
Our creations take inspiration from the natural environment and the desire to re-use and recycle wherever we can. Our pieces are made from wood we’ve sourced locally from driftwood, reused scaffold boards destined for the incinerator and even salvaged beautiful beams from a Victorian cottage being demolished. We are always on the lookout for wood, the more history the better. A piece of furniture with a history is a great feature in any home.
We aim to create bespoke items that give not only great pleasure in practical use but also look great in your home environment.

We are proud members of Genuine Jersey, the mark of local provenance. Genuine Jersey was launched in 2001 to promote the diversity and quality of local produce and products, and we are pleased to be one of the many wonderful local artisans working hard to keep the heritage of Jersey alive.
